QLD : Introductory Coding Challenges

The department has contracted Grok Learning to provide a series of introductory coding challenges on their website for students in Years 3 to 10. These activities complement the department’s Queensland Coding Academy and Queensland Coding Academy: Student which support teaching and learning in Digital Technologies.

Additional free activities (through the Australian Computing Academy) and paid courses are also available on the Grok website. State school users can log in to the site through single sign-on.

Teachers should read the section on Grok Learning in the Queensland Coding Academy user guide (DOCX, 1.1MB), which contains information about how to access Grok, the user data sent to the site and an email template to send to parents and caregivers.
