Are you aware that your existing Wireless Microphone System may need replacing? Or that your Wireless Portable PA may need to be upgraded?
The government has sold off the frequency spectrum which your Wireless Microphone and Portable PA system may be currently operating on and your equipment will be redundant from 01 January 2015. If your current system is operating between 694-820MHz, it will need to be replaced.
If you own a Mipro system, then you can identify the operating frequency band by the sticker displayed on your wireless microphone receiver. If your system operates on the 7D band, or you have a different system operating between 694-820MHz, then your wireless microphone system will need replacing. In the case of Mipro Portable PA systems, some can be upgraded simply by replacing the receiver module and mic transmitter. If you are unsure about what frequency your system is operating on, please contact your Kookaburra Account Manager.

- To be eligible for the Mipro trade-in pricing, a customer must first complete a Mipro Trade-In & Upgrade Offer Order Form for a qualifying trade-in of any Wireless product/s in the old UHF frequency range (694MHz - 820MHz). This Order Form must be completed and submitted before purchase of the new Mipro unit/s.
- Upgrading to a larger PA System or Wideband System is available within the trade-in offer.
- Trade-in units must be in working condition.

Customer Warranties
The customer warrants that:
- it owns or otherwise has the right to dispose of the Goods;
- return of the Goods to Hills SVL will not infringe on the rights of any third party; and
- Goods for trade-in will be in working condition.
* Failure to comply with these terms and conditions will result in the total standard price being charged to your account. (This amount may be charged in total, or at the trade-in price and then the difference between the trade-in and standard price, if the terms and conditions are not met.)
Return of Goods
The customer is responsible for returning the trade-in unit/s to any Hills SVL branch, this includes any costs associated to freight and handling.
- Trade-in units must be received within 30 days of the Kookaburra invoice for the new Mipro products that have been purchased.
- Enclose a completed copy of the Mipro Trade-in form.
- Include any power cords or power supply for the unit.
- Trade-in units are to be packed appropriately, to ensure they are not damaged during transit. Units that arrive damaged may be considered ineligible for trade-in.

How will I know if my unit is eligible for the trade-in offer?
Any Wireless Transmitters (Microphones & Beltpacks), Receivers or Portable PA Systems that are in working condition and operate on a UHF Frequency between 694-820MHz will be considered eligible. The Wireless products can be any brand.
What qualifies as a trade-in?
Wireless Transmitters (Microphones & Beltpacks), Receivers or Portable PA Systems that are in working condition and operate on a UHF Frequency between 694-820MHz.
What happens if I have a brand other than Mipro? Do you trade-in any other brands of Wireless Microphones and Portable PA Systems?
Other brands of Wireless Microphone and Beltpack (Transmitter), Receiver and Portable PA Systems are eligible for the trade-in offer, providing they meet the terms and conditions, are in working condition and operate on a UHF Frequency between 694-820MHz.
Is the cost of any installation included in the trade-in pricing?
No, installation is not included in the pricing. The changeover of most equipment can be completed by a member of staff or an audio visual technician. Kookaburra can provide further information and pricing for installation if required.
Who is responsible for the return of the goods being traded-in?
The Customer is responsible for returning the goods to the nearest Hills SVL branch, this includes any packaging and costs associated to freight and handling.
Does the trade-in unit need to be in working condition?
Yes
Is there an age limit for trade-ins?
No, the unit must be in working condition and be a Wireless product that operates in the frequency 694-820MHz.
How long do I have to return my trade-in?
30 days from Kookaburra invoice date. Goods are to be returned to any Hills SVL Branch location.
Is it easy to service the old unit with the new receivers and will it affect the warranty?
The changeover of most equipment can be completed by a member of staff or an audio visual technician. An installation guide is supplied with new Mipro Receivers. Providing the new Mipro Receiver is installed in accordance with the installation guide, the warranty will not be affected.
How long will it take to have my trade-in qualified?
Once we have received your completed Mipro Trade-in form, a member of our sales team will be in contact with you to discuss your trade-in within 2 to 3 business days. This form must be completed and submitted before you make your purchase. Please Note: Trade-in Forms will NOT be back-dated after purchase.
Do I need to change my hall receivers?
If your Hall receiver operates on a UHF frequency between 694-820MHz then it will need replacing before 01 January 2015.
What happens to the products that are "traded-in"?
As the items are within the UHF frequency range 694MHz-820MHz they will not be able to be used post 01 January 2015. A recycling program is in place to ensure all components of your trade-in items are either re-used or scrapped in an environmentally "sound" way.
When will I receive my upgrade/new product?
Your new Mipro product/s will be despatched as soon as possible. The trade-in unit is required to be returned once you have received the new Mipro product/s within 30 days of the Kookaburra invoice date.
When is the trade-in and upgrade offer valid to?
Offer has been extended and is now valid until 18 September 2015.
What if I want to upgrade to a different/bigger unit?
You can upgrade to a different or bigger Mipro Wireless unit/system, however trade-in pricing is only available on the Mipro products as advertised in this promotion and listed in the terms and conditions.
Definitions
'Customer': means the owner of the goods.
'Goods': means any Wireless product and it's accessories.
'Hills SVL': Hills Sound Vision and Lighting Group (Hills SVL Group) is the Australian distributor of the Mipro brand of products.
'Trade-in': means any Wireless product and it's accessories that will be returned to Hills SVL in relation to the Trade-in and Upgrade Offer.
'UHF Frequency Range': Ultra-high frequency (UHF) refers to the range 694-820MHz.
'Standard Price': Kookaburra's advertised Standard Price in the Term 3-4 Flyer, 2015 - offer extended and valid until 18 September 2015. The Standard Price is our everyday price to our account customers.
'Trade-in Price': Kookaburra's advertised Trade-in Price in the Term 3-4 Flyer, 2015 - offer extended and valid until 18 September 2015. This is a discounted price available to eligible customers that complete a qualifying trade-in of Wireless products.
