Burnside State High School’s Multi-Purpose Sports Hall has received a major AV upgrade, creating a more engaging experience for students, staff and the wider school community.

The project centred around the installation of a new 180" MAXHUB Raptor G3 LED display, featuring anti-impact GOB technology, paired with a Yamaha audio upgrade to deliver powerful visuals and clear, high-quality sound throughout the venue.

Building on this foundation, the Kookaburra team also installed an Avonic PTZ camera with a custom-built protective cage, Kramer HDBaseT transmitter and receiver, and an RGBlink all-in-one live video switcher. A Shure passive directional antenna with custom protection was also added to enhance the school's existing Shure wireless microphone system.

The new Avonic PTZ camera provides crystal-clear live coverage of basketball games, assemblies and special events directly to the massive LED display, while also enabling professional-quality streaming for audiences watching remotely.

This upgrade has transformed the hall into a versatile space capable of supporting sports presentations, school events, live productions and hybrid participation, ensuring students and visitors can see and hear every moment with exceptional clarity.
