Our roots are in education. As technology became increasingly important to teaching, communication and collaboration, our capabilities grew with the needs of the schools we supported.

A new chapter with COS

Stronger together

Joining the COS family created an opportunity to focus Kookaburra more clearly around our specialist Audio Visual & Technologies capability.

In 2025, school supplies and learning-aid requirements transitioned to COS, while the same Kookaburra team continued with an expanded Audio Visual and Technologies offer.

This brought together Kookaburra's specialist knowledge with the broader operational strength of COS, while giving Kookaburra a clearer focus on helping customers with their AV and technology requirements.

A new name for an evolving business

1 July 2025

On 1 July 2025, Kookaburra changed its trading name to Kookaburra Audio Visual & Technologies. The change retained the same ABN and continued the existing customer service relationship.

The new name wasn't about walking away from where we'd come from. It was a clearer expression of where our capabilities had already been heading.

Today, our offer extends from straightforward product supply through to integrated AV solutions incorporating installation, commissioning and training or solution-orientation services.
