The
Writing Time Early Years Dictionary develops early spelling and dictionary skills, using Victorian Modern Cursive. It assists young children with spelling and written language by:
- Teaching alphabetical order;
- Developing dictionary skills to locate words.
The
Writing Time Dictionary is separated into two parts:
- Part one includes letters and words in alphabetical order and allows each child to keep a record of their own frequently used words;
- Part two includes theme based vocabulary lists and activities that include frequently used words. Themes include colour, parts of the body, animals and shapes.
The
Writing Time Early Years Dictionary also includes notes and suggestions on different ways to use the dictionary and activities.
